New Features
- Searchable Tags for Customers and Vendors: Customers and Vendors can now be tagged with searchable secondary references, just like Items. Tags improve discoverability and categorization, allowing you to quickly find records by associated tags in search results and entity lookups.
- 2D Data Matrix Barcode Printing on Labels: Labels now support 2D Data Matrix barcode generation and printing, extending the label template system with this additional barcode format. Users can configure Data Matrix barcodes within label templates, with barcode content dynamically populated from label data and validated for scannability across supported printers.
- Hierarchical Buyer Assignment Across Products and Vendors: Buyers can now be assigned at multiple levels, Admin (global default), Vendor, Product Category, and Product, with automatic hierarchical resolution that prioritizes more specific assignments. The system intelligently selects the appropriate buyer based on the configuration level, streamlining procurement workflows and enabling flexible buyer management across your product catalog.
- Create Work Orders from Item Transform Dialog: Users can now create Work Orders directly from the Transform dialog to track and manage item transformations step-by-step. When creating a transform Work Order, the system automatically generates the Work Order and associated Build with the source lot pre-allocated, then opens the print dialog so you can immediately print the Work Order Build document.
Improvements
- Always Consolidate Lots Option in Item Import: The "Always Consolidate Lots" option is now available when importing items via CSV, allowing you to configure lot consolidation settings in bulk. The setting respects the same visibility rules as the UI, automatically deselecting when "Keep Inventory" is not enabled and providing validation feedback during import.
- Editable Component Item Pricing on Quotes: Component item pricing can now be edited directly on Quotes, matching the functionality available on Sales Orders and Assemblies. This allows you to adjust component pricing at the quote stage, providing greater flexibility in your quoting process.
- Decimal Quantities in Purchase Order Receipts: PO Receipts now support decimal quantities, allowing you to receive fractional amounts without requiring full line receipts. This aligns with decimal quantity support on Purchase Orders and provides greater flexibility in managing partial receipts with precise quantity tracking.
- Print Details Visibility Control Across Documents: Print details dialogs can now be toggled on or off at the document level for Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Pick Tickets, and Sales Order Overview. This gives you greater control over when print details are displayed, allowing you to streamline your document workflows based on your operational needs.
- Sales Order Cost Display Uses GP Calculation Cost: Sales orders now display the cost used for gross profit calculations instead of inventory cost, eliminating misleading $0 values when inventory is unavailable. Administrators can configure which cost source (inventory, loaded, manual, or last cost) is displayed to users, ensuring consistent and accurate cost visibility across all sales order views.
- Automatic Work Order Closure on Final Line Deletion: Work Orders now automatically close when you delete the final remaining open line. This streamlines workflow management by eliminating the need to manually close Work Orders after all lines have been completed or removed.
- Search Items by Custom Unit of Measure UPC Codes: Items can now be found using UPC codes associated with custom units of measure, improving product lookup accuracy. Search queries now match against both standard and custom unit UPC codes, enabling more efficient item discovery across your entire product catalog.
- Table Filters Reset When Navigating Sidebar Pages: Clicking on a page in the sidebar menu now automatically clears any active filters and resets the table to its default state. This ensures a clean starting point each time you navigate to a page, preventing confusion from previously applied filters.
Bug Fixes
- Proof of Delivery Document Fixes and Improvements: Proof of Delivery documents now correctly display captured signatures and display company logos at appropriate sizes. Additionally, users can now successfully capture signatures in the pickup tool without encountering permission errors, enabling complete signature collection workflows.
- Migrated Work Orders Now Close Successfully: Work orders migrated from legacy systems can now be closed without manual intervention. The system properly handles all required fields and validation rules for migrated records, allowing you to complete work order closeout workflows seamlessly.
- Inventory Reallocation Prioritizes Wanted Date Correctly: The overnight inventory reallocation process now correctly prioritizes backorders by wanted date instead of created date, ensuring that items are allocated to the orders that need them soonest. This fix improves inventory distribution accuracy when multiple backorders exist for the same item.
- Eliminate Repeated Takeover Prompts in Order Editing: Sales order editing no longer interrupts with repeated takeover prompts. The takeover state is now persisted during your editing session, ensuring you receive the prompt only once and can continue working uninterrupted.
- Correct Ordered By Contact When Copying Sales Orders to Quotes: When copying a sales order to a quote and selecting a different customer, the Ordered By contact field now correctly updates to the primary contact for the newly selected customer instead of retaining the original customer's contact. This ensures quote records accurately reflect the correct contact information for the new customer.
- Assembly Component Costs Now Calculate on Sales Orders: Component costs for assembly items now properly calculate and roll up into line costs immediately when added to a Sales Order, eliminating the previous delay that required Work Order creation. This ensures accurate cost information is available throughout the order entry process without waiting for downstream document generation.
- Fix Box Dimensions in Ship Tool: Box dimensions no longer change unexpectedly when adding new boxes in the ship tool. Your box size data now persists accurately throughout the shipping process.
