v1.57
Version 1.57 Release Notes
Release Date
June 12, 2026
New Features
- Automated Credit Card Surcharge Add-On: Admins can now designate a single Add-On as an Automated Credit Card Surcharge with a configurable percentage. When an order's payment method indicates a credit card transaction, the surcharge automatically calculates and applies based on the order total, streamlining payment processing and ensuring consistent surcharge application across all credit card orders.
Improvements
- Configurable Backordered Items Display on Invoices: Invoices can now optionally display backordered items alongside shipped items, giving you a complete view of order fulfillment status on a single document. A new toggle under Admin > Invoices lets you enable this feature, with shipped and backordered items clearly distinguished for clarity.
- Stripe Pre-Auth Payment Method Selection on Reapplication: When reapplying a pre-authorization through the yellow banner in the Stripe Connect workflow, you can now select a different payment method instead of automatically using the saved card. The system displays the payment selection prompt, allowing you to choose an existing saved card, enter a new card, or switch payment methods as needed.
- Unified Order Total Calculation Across Entities: Order totals are now calculated using a centralized service across quotes, orders, shipments, invoices, work orders, and transfer orders. This eliminates calculation inconsistencies and ensures accurate totals throughout your workflows.
- Vendor Bank Account and Routing Validation: Bank account numbers and routing numbers are now validated at the vendor record level as you enter them, catching errors immediately instead of waiting for file processing. The system validates against standard banking rules, helping ensure accurate payment information before transactions are processed.
- Amazon Seller Central Logging and Admin Organization: Amazon Seller Central now has dedicated logging functionality in the Admin section, similar to existing Amazon Vendor Central logs. The Admin > Logs area has been reorganized to clearly distinguish between Amazon VC and Amazon SC, with proper access controls applied to both log types.
Bug Fixes
- Fix Serialized Item Credit Closeout Quantity Mismatch: Serialized item credits can now be successfully closed out without encountering quantity mismatch errors. The closeout logic has been corrected to properly handle serialized item quantities during credit processing.
- Fix Item UPC Code Import from CSV Files: Item UPC codes can now be successfully imported via CSV without errors or validation failures. The import process correctly handles valid UPC codes regardless of which other columns are present in the file, while still rejecting genuinely invalid UPCs with clear error messages.
- Entity Use Code Preservation and Tax Recalculation: Entity Use Code now transfers correctly when converting quotes to sales orders, and changing the Entity Use Code on a quote immediately triggers sales tax recalculation. Additionally, Job and Customer PO fields now properly trigger tax recalculation on quotes, aligning with order and invoice behavior for Avalara tax processing.
- Fix Order Receipt Return Navigation Link: Corrected the navigation link from Item Sales Shipments to properly direct to receipt returns instead of shipments.
- Serial Number Editing Now Uses Dedicated Permission: Item-level serial number editing now requires only the Serial Numbers edit permission instead of Admin Settings access. Users can now modify serial numbers directly from the item page without needing broader administrative privileges.
- Fix Document Template Carrier Account Hiding: The 'Hide Carrier Account' setting in document templates now correctly hides the shipping account number (Ship Acct) instead of the billing option. This fix applies consistently across all document templates including quotes, orders, invoices, and pick/pack slips, in both previews and generated documents.
- Fix AP Detail Report Reconciliation for Historical Dates: A recent view update grabbed some additional data from future periods in AP reporting which has been cleared up. This only impacted views, no data issues were found.
