New Features

  • Always Condolidate Lots  Added at Company Level: Clients can now have the system automatically consolidate item inventory into a single CONSOLIDATED  named "Lot" in the system, instead of separate receipts creating new Lots each time. The system will begin consolidating lots for all items as soon as the next Receipt is created. Users can manually Merge Lots into a single Consolidated Lot, should they want to compile them all together!

Note that this option will be added on the Item Level within the next 1-2 quarters, allowing users to modify this on an Item by Item basis, for those who the majority of their inventory doesn't need lot tracking but a couple products might!

  • Price & Cost Rules and Visibility Updates: Significant updates were made to pricing and cost rules, including nomenclature clarifications and expanded cost markup options. We also added additional information to the Price and Cost details and made the Price on Sales Line Items clickable in non-edit mode.

Price and Cost Breakdowns are now included at the top of both popups. We will continue improving but this should be a significant improvement to noting where, primarily, Cost is currently being calculated from!

  • Ability to Change Location Address Directly on Invoices & Ship Method Added to Invoice Header: The shipping method and details were added to the Invoice Header for easier reference, and users can also update/adjust the Location directly on an Invoice now for faster processing if erroneous locations were pushed to the Invoice.  

  • Tooltip on Line Item UM Shows all System Units Available: A tooltip was added so users can see all available units of measure (UMs) available for the given Item, as well as the system calculations for them.

  • Bill of Lading Generation from Open Shipments: Bill of Ladings can now be generated from eligible Open Shipments, eliminating the need to wait until formal shipment close to generate them. Generating a BOL is still limited to those not tagged as Pickup or Delivery methods.

  • Decimals Quantities for Inventory Updated in PDF Documents: All documents supporting decimal quantities for Inventory have been updated now that we have decimal quantities available to use for inventory, ordering, etc.

Note that decimal quantities still needs to be turned on in Admin (General Settings) by updating the field indicating how many you would like the system to show for inventory fields! We suggest reaching out to 10X before turning this on if you have any questions.

  • Switch to Return Non-Track Items Added: We removed the ability to formally return non-track parts, since they do not store inventory in the system; however, we also added the ability to view and return these items formally. This allows users to formally create Return Authorizations for Non-Track Items.

Improvements

  • Non-Allocate Filter and Indicators Added to Purchase Tool: The !!  non-Allocate indicators, as well as a filter, were added to the Purchase Tool, similar to what was present on the Backorder Tool, for easier identification of Item holding quantities in a non-allocate warehouse location.

  • Fields Added to Mobile Delivery Tool: The Wanted Date, Ship To Contact, and Ship Method were added to the Mobile Delivery Tool for more detailed filtering and delivery management. This allows users to set multiple delivery Ship Methods (i.e., per Truck) and filter to better manage routing.
  • In Transit Inventory Drawer Added: A specific informational drawer was built for the In Transit hyperlink on the Item > Inventory page. This should show the Inventory currently on Transfer Shipments going to the hyperlinked warehouse.

  • Sales History Popup Updates: Improved the popup that appears when clicking the red/gray/green arrow next to Price on Sales Order and Quote lines to pull from Invoices instead of Orders and be specific to the Customer on the associated Quote/Order.
  • PO Reference Field added to Drop Ship PO PDFs: The PO Reference field was added to standard POs in a recent release; it is now also active and included on Drop Ship PO PDFs.
  • Various Sales Tax Improvements: Updated Sales Tax Jurisdiction Report with better naming for clarity, removed the table row limit, and added date range options to reporting. We also added additional blockers and options for the TaxJar integration and improved Sales Tax options on Sales Returns.
  • Custom Attributes added to Contacts Summary Tables: Custom Attributes for Contacts can now be made visible in the Contacts Table (Customer & Vendor) when flagged as Include on Summary Tables.

Note the Custom Attributes on the Summary Tables are not searchable and sortable just yet, but the tables can be exported and filtered outside 10X as needed today!

  • Removed Closed Lines from the Sales Backlog Dashboard: Closed lines are not necessary on this dashboard and have been removed for more useful reporting.

Bug Fixes

  • Allocating Multiple Lines of the Same Item on Single Transfer Receipts Linked to Work Order Builds: Cleared a bug where only the first line of a linked SP transfer receipt allocated back to the SP work order build, when the first two receipt lines were the same Item.
  • Unable to set Custom Unit as Display Unit for Distance/Measure UMs: Cleared a bug related to setting distance/measure units of measure, such as in<>ft or mm<>m, where they were unable to be selected as Display Units during initial Item creation.
  • Duplicate Usage for Consolidated Invoices in Purchase Tool: Cleared a bug where calculations on the Purchase Tool included quantities on Consolidated Invoices unnecessarily. Item usage calculations on the Purchase Reports were unaffected.
  • Disallow Customers to be Parent Customers of Themselves: Added a blocker to ensure users can't select a Parent Customer that could cause an unnecessary infinite loop.
  • Include PO Return Authorization Print Jobs in Log: PO Return Authorizations weren't previously included in the Print Log and have now been added for more granular auditing.
  • Various Minor Bugs Cleared: Cleared minor bugs in Cycle Counts, Lot Cost Editing, and QuickParse.
