Reviewing Journal Entries; Manually Creating Journal Entries

This how-to video is designed for users who have access to the accounting module in 10X ERP. It covers the essential steps for reviewing and creating manual journal entries within the system. The tutorial discusses the permissions needed for these tasks and elaborates on how the system ensures the balance between debit and credit entries.

  • Navigate to the Accounting Module and Go to the 'General > Journal Entries' Tab
  • Review System-Generated Journal Entries, note that these are Non-Editable by the User
  • Use the 'Plus' Button to Create a Manual Journal Entry
  • Enter Debit and Credit Amounts, the System will check to ensure they balance
  • Review and Save the Manual Entry
  • Edit or Delete Manual Entries as Long as They Are Within an Unlocked Period
