Amazon Seller Central Integration

10X connects directly to your Amazon Seller Central account so your Amazon channel and your 10X inventory stay in sync. Orders flow into 10X automatically, and your on-hand quantities and shipment tracking flow back out to Amazon.

What syncs

Once the integration is live, 10X runs four syncs on your behalf, on a regular schedule:

Order import (MFN) — Merchant-fulfilled orders come into 10X as sales orders.
Order import (FBA) — Fulfillment by Amazon orders come into 10X as well.
Inventory export — Your 10X on-hand quantities are pushed out to your Amazon listings.
Tracking export — Shipment tracking numbers entered in 10X are sent back to Amazon.

MFN vs. FBA orders

Amazon orders arrive in 10X under one of two fulfillment models, and each is handled a little differently:

MFN (Merchant Fulfilled) — You ship these from your own stock. They draw against your default warehouse in 10X.
FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) — Amazon ships these from their fulfillment centers. They are assigned to a dedicated FBA warehouse in 10X.

Note on FBA inventory: For FBA orders, 10X records the order, shipment, and invoice as a record of the sale, but it does not automatically move inventory into or out of the FBA warehouse. Restocking and inventory adjustments for FBA are handled manually so your counts stay accurate.

How products are matched (ASINs)

Amazon identifies every product by its ASIN. In 10X, each ASIN is linked to a 10X item using an Xref (cross-reference). These links are what let orders match the right item and inventory push to the right listing. Xrefs can be added one at a time or loaded in bulk from a spreadsheet, and anything linked this way is automatically included in the inventory sync.

What we need from you to get set up

To turn the integration on, we’ll ask you for the following:

Seller Central authorization — You authorize the 10X application in Seller Central under Apps & Services → Manage Your Apps. This generates the secure connection we use, and you never have to share your Amazon password.
Merchant ID and marketplaces — Your Amazon Merchant ID and which marketplace(s) you sell in (for example, US only, or US and Canada).
ASIN-to-item list — A list matching your Amazon products (ASIN or Seller SKU) to your 10X item numbers, so we can load the Xrefs.
Fulfillment model — Confirmation of whether you use MFN, FBA, or both.
FBA warehouse — If you use FBA, the 10X warehouse that should hold your FBA orders.

We create the 10X customer record that Amazon orders post under, so there’s nothing you need to provide for that. And because everything linked by Xref is included in the inventory sync, there’s no separate item-selection step.
