Troubleshooting Print Jobs
This article explains how to troubleshoot print jobs in 10X ERP when a document does not print, a printer experiences an issue, or a print job appears to be missing. Users can verify whether 10X successfully created the print job, locate the Print Job ID, and then track the job in PrintNode. By reviewing the job status and connected devices in PrintNode, users can determine whether the issue is within 10X, PrintNode, the computer connection, or the printer itself.
- Navigate to Admin > Logs > Print to verify that the Print Job was successfully created and submitted by 10X.
- Review the Print Log Entry to confirm the document appears in the log and that no Error Message was generated during the print process.
- Locate the Print Job ID from the Print Log, as this ID is used to track the job within PrintNode.

- Confirm the Status Shows “Done” to verify that PrintNode successfully delivered the print job to the printer.
- Check for Status Indicators if the job did not complete, and review the Error Message provided for troubleshooting details.
- Investigate Jobs Showing “New” or a Question Mark as this typically indicates the job is waiting to be delivered to a computer that is not currently connected.
- Review Connected Devices in PrintNode to identify any Computers or Printers that are disconnected.
- Turn On or Reconnect the Affected Computer if the target device is offline so PrintNode can deliver the print job successfully.
