Viewing Available Inventory by Warehouse in Line Item Entry (Sales Orders, Quotes, etc.)

This feature allows you to display item availability directly within item search when creating quotes or sales orders. By enabling a setting in Admin, users can instantly see available quantities by warehouse and in total while selecting items. This improves decision-making during order entry by showing real-time stock levels without needing to open the item record. Once enabled, availability appears automatically in search results and can be expanded for more detail.

• Go to Admin Settings and locate the Global Item Settings section to access availability options.
• Enable Show Item Availability in Search by toggling the setting on and saving your changes.
• Refresh Sales Order or Quote Screen to ensure the updated setting is applied during item entry.
• Search for Items in Line Entry to view real-time availability directly in the dropdown results.
• Review Warehouse-Level Quantities to see how much stock exists in each location and the total available.
• Click Availability Link for Details to view a deeper breakdown of inventory across warehouses.
