How to Split a Work Order Build

This video explains how to split a Work Order Build in 10X ERP when multiple quantities were entered into a single build but need to be separated. Instead of deleting the existing build and starting over, you can simply edit the quantity within the current build. This allows you to reduce the quantity and create additional individual builds as needed. You can also increase quantities, as long as they do not exceed the total committed amount on the Work Order.

• Open the Work Order and navigate to the Builds Tab to locate the existing Build that needs to be split.
• Select the Build and Click the Pencil Icon to enter Edit Mode for that specific Build.
• Change the Quantity Field by reducing the Quantity (for example, from 3 to 1) to separate the Build into individual quantities.
• Click the Back Arrow to Save and confirm the Build now reflects the updated Quantity.
• Create Additional Builds as Needed to account for the remaining committed Quantity on the Work Order.
• Increase Quantity (If Applicable) by adjusting the Quantity up to the Total Committed Amount on the Work Order, ensuring it does not exceed what is committed.
