Create an Assembly Item - The Basics
This tutorial will cover the essentials of creating an assembly item, such as a kit, within 10X ERP. This is useful for combining multiple items in your inventory, including both stock and non-stock items like labor costs.
- Navigate to the Inventory Page and Click '+'
- Choose 'Regular Item' and Input Necessary Fields
- Under 'Options', Check the 'Components' Box to Enable Assembly Features
- Choose Settings like 'Price by Components' and 'Print Components on Picking Slip'
- Add Components to the Assembly Item, these can be both Keep and Non-Keep Inventory Items
- Include further Attributes or Details (Notes, Attachments, etc.) if necessary
- Save the Assembly Item for Use in Sales Orders
