Creating a Sales Order or Quote from the VMI Tool

You can now create a quote or sales order directly from the VMI tool in 10X, streamlining the process for on-site users. The tool automatically pulls in customer and item data, including pricing rules, to speed up entry. Note that quotes or orders can only be created for one customer at a time—multiple customer tags will result in an error.

• Open VMI Tool From The Tools Menu
• Select A Tag For The Desired Customer And Product
• Click “Create Order” To Generate A Sales Order With Pulled Quantities And Defaults
• Alternatively, Click “Create Quote” To Build A Quote Using Pricing Rules And Defaults
• Avoid Selecting Tags From Multiple Customers To Prevent Errors
• Use On Mobile Devices For Easy Field Access And Order Entry
