New Features
- Loaded Cost Updates (Ongoing Focus): Significant updates are being made to what we call
Loaded Costs
, which comprise various management-type costs that can be included on Orders to represent true GP% better - see below for each. More work is currently in progress, and conversations with clients are ongoing for further improvements - we encourage you to reach out with more questions and feedback as we dial in this important feature!- Loaded Cost =
Inventory Cost
(book value) +Landed Cost
+Non-Track Item Cost
+Working Cost
- Landed Cost: This can be calculated using PO Receipts and PO Bills against the
Relative Value
or theRelative Weight
of the associated items. A checkbox is included on Add Ons and typically would consist of costs like Freight, Tariffs, Certification Fees, Expedite Fees, or similar. - Non-Track Item Cost: Non-Track Items, such as Labor, Boxes, Bags, etc., can have a
List Cost
added to them, which will be included in theLoaded Cost
calculated when the associated Item is added to an Order or, more often, as a component of an assembly. - Working Cost: A top-line adder that can be included as a percent (%) of the total gross sales of all Orders. This management cost can primarily be used to help cover company SG&A, or a consistent cost that Sales should consider when pricing items.
- Loaded Cost =
- Create Formal Transfer Order/Shipment/Receipt for SP POs: Users can now, optionally, create a formal Transfer Order when publishing an SP PO, allowing the physical parts to be selected and transferred to an
SP Warehouse
.- Note that if this option is used, you must create a Transfer Shipment and receive the parts at your vendor's location (Transfer Receipt) in order to finally receive the parts back on a PO Receipt to the associated WO Build.
- Hitting the
ESC
button from the Transfer Order Window will close the window and allow emailing of the associated PO!
- Job Reports Added: Jobs are now live, and a new Job Reports area has been added to the Reports section. Reports include a Profit view, Order/PO Status, and Invoice/Bill Status.
- Automated Scanning and Inclusion of Lot Information: We have added to our automated document scanning and upload capabilities by adding a
Lots Cover Page
option to PO Receipts. This optional feature would allow customers to batch scan Lot-related documentation (MTRs, Cert Reports, etc.) and have it auto-upload to the associated Lots for inclusion in future Sales Order documentation.
Improvements
- Vendor Location Selection on RFQs & POs: Users can now select from various Vendor Locations on a PO or RFQ, with the associated paperwork updating. This is useful when a client is picking up their own PO, and the paperwork can now have the pickup location instead of the business address of the Vendor.
- Item Description Added to
Quick Add
: Users can now include, optionally, anItem Description
as part of a copy/pasteQuick Add
. If anItem Description
is included in the Quick Add area, it will override the system Item Description, otherwise, if left blank, the system Item Description will be used. - VMI Enhancements: Improved the VMI Tool to show more information on label scanning, error if tags from different locations are selected, and show the quantity of tags scanned. Further Improvement Ongoing: Adding all quantities into a single line on a Sales Order instead of multiple Order Lines for each tag scanned.
- Country of Origin (CoO) Expanded to Allow Three Characters: Users can now optionally input three-character Country of Origin's for utilization on paperwork and labels.
- NACHA File Company Name: Updated the NACHA File to pull from the
Remit to Name
in the Remittance Info section of Admin Settings instead of theCompany Name
in the Company section, allowing companies to align their NACHA file with how their company name is on bank records, which may be different than their forward facing name. - Manual Send EDI Invoice Button Added: Batch sending of EDI Invoices is still undertaken from the standard Send Invoices Page, but we have also added a manual Send through EDI button to Invoices if the invoice is edited or needs to be sent after the initial send.
- Dashboard & Report Improvements: Added a
PO Type
filter to the PO Dashboard, the ability to edit the headerDate
andDelivery Date
from the PO Dashboard directly, and updated Commission Reports to includeSales Rep
andSales Rep 2
fields after the addition of the second sales rep field. - CC Pre-Auths on Subsequent Shipments: Pre-auths for shipments after the initial shipment will now automatically prompt to run when the shipment is generated, or generate if the shipment is generated from the Order Print Tool. Note: Previous pre-auths that were not captured will still need to be manually cancelled. This is a future improvement we plan to make in the coming months.
- Show all Qty Available Option Added to Picking and WO Build PDFs: When turned on, this option will show the total quantity available of the line item within the given warehouse at the time of picking slip or WO build print.
Bug Fixes
- Prevent Editing of Taxable Status on Invoices after Partial Payment Received: Users could previously edit the taxable status of an invoice after payment was partially received. This has been disabled to disallow editing of invoices after any payment has been received against the invoice. A separate
Credit
orDebit
can be generated if this situation occurs. - Receiving Parts into Inactive Warehouse: If a warehouse was deleted after initial PO creation, an error wasn't previously thrown until the PO was received into the Inactive Warehouse. An error will now be thrown when trying to delete a Warehouse that is actively being used on a PO.
