How to Set Up and Use Order Sources in 10X ERP
Order Sources in 10X ERP help you track how sales orders are received, such as via email, phone, EDI, or walk-in. These sources can be customized and made a required field in sales order headers, allowing for enhanced tracking and reporting. Admins can easily create and manage these entries within the Admin panel, and users can filter by order source in sales orders, shipments, and reports like the bookings report.
- Go to Admin > Orders > Order Source to Add or Manage Order Sources
- Click the Plus (+) Button to Create a New Order Source with Code, Name, and Optional Type
- Enable "Required" if You Want Order Source to Be Mandatory on Sales Orders
- Use Filters in Sales Orders and Shipments to View Orders by Source (e.g., Email, Phone)
- Apply Order Source Filters in Tool, Dashboards, Custom Reports (e.g., Bookings Report) for Better Insight
