Shipping Methods in 10X ERP
Summary:
This video explains the four shipping methods available in 10X ERP: Ship Tool, Pickup Tool, Mobile Delivery Tool, and Manual Tracking. Each method allows users to process shipments, capture delivery proof, and move orders to invoicing. Integrated carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) are handled via the Ship Tool, while customer pickups and mobile deliveries capture signatures and photos for proof. Manual tracking is used for third-party carriers by entering shipment details directly.
How-To Steps:
Use Ship Tool For Carrier Shipments:
Access via Tools menu to ship using FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. Enter or scan the shipment, choose a box, input weight (manual or scale), and print the label.
Use Pickup Tool For Will Call Orders:
Select order from list, add or select the customer contact, capture a signature (typed name required), and optionally take a photo for proof of pickup.
Use Mobile Delivery Tool For Driver Shipments:
Drivers select delivery from their list, capture recipient signature (typed name), and optionally take a photo. Confirm to record proof of delivery.
Use Manual Tracking For Third-Party Shipments:
Navigate to the Shipment in the Sales Order screen, click the truck icon, enter weight, tracking/pro number, and notes. Save to close and prepare for invoicing.
