Activity Notes for Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

You can add activity notes in both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) to track reminders or communications related to customer invoices or vendor bills. In AR, select a customer and use the activity section to add notes about overdue invoices or follow-ups. These notes are time-stamped, editable, and help maintain a running history. The same functionality exists in AP under the Bills section for managing vendor-related actions.

  • Navigate To Accounting > Accounts Receivable
  • Select A Customer From The List
  • Click Into The Customer Record And Add An Activity Note For Follow-Ups Like Overdue Invoices
  • Save The Note To Log It With A Timestamp And User ID
  • View, Edit, Or Add Additional Notes To Maintain A Running History
  • Repeat The Same Steps In Accounts Payable By Going To Bills And Selecting A Vendor
  • Use The Activity Note Field To Track Payment Reminders Or Vendor Communications
