Basic Work Order Intro: Creating Work Order for Stock, Creating & Closing Work Order Builds
This video explains how to create a work order for stock in 10X ERP to build inventory for the shelf, and optionally link the work order to a sales order after creation. It covers the steps for creating the work order, building the parts, and tracking the progress.
- Access the Work Order Module and Create a New Work Order.
- Update the Wanted Completion Date and Add a Sales Order Number for Reference (Optional).
- Add Kits or Assembly Items to the Work Order and Allocate Components.
- Create the Build Once Components Are Ready, Print the Build Documents and Labels as Needed.
- Close the Component Lines Individually to Track Progress.
- Close the Main Line to Convert Finished Goods to Stock and Move to a Location.
