Creating Work Orders from Sales Orders (Auto WO and Manual Creation), Closing WO Builds Associated with Sales Orders

This video explains how to create a work order from a sales order, both automatically (based on item settings) and manually. The process includes adding items to the sales order, generating work orders, and managing builds and shipments.

• Add an Assembly Item to the Sales Order and Publish it.
  • If Auto Work Order is enabled, Work Order creation is automatically prompted.
  • If Auto Work Order is not enabled, manually create the Work Order from the Sales Order Line.
• Validate the Work Order Creation and accuracy.
• Create the Build for the Work Order by Selecting Committed Items.
  • Optionally, Print the Build Picking Ticket and Labels.
• Close the Work Order After Building the Items.
• Move Finished Goods to the Desired Location After Completing the Build.
• Create the Shipment from the Sales Order with Committed Finished Goods.
