New Features
- Use XREF Description in Place of Item Description: Companies now have the option to replace their
Item Description
with a Customer's or Vendor'sXREF Description
if the field is filled in on the related XREF. This can be turned on in Admin > Settings, in theGlobal Item Settings
section. - Notes on PO Receipt Lines: Notes functionality has been added to PO Receipt Lines, allowing users to tag Notes for Items to PO Receipts. This functionality will continue to be expanded as part of creating a Receiving Worksheet that can be printed from the PO or the PO Receipt. The Receiving Worksheet is planned to be completed by Release 1.21 (mid-November 2024).
- Permission Restriction on Terms and Sales Reps on Orders: Specific permissions were added to the
Sales Orders
section in User Permissions to disable editing of Payment Terms and Sales Reps. The update left these inEDIT
mode since this was the existing permission set default.
Improvements
- Shipment Date Defaults to Earliest Wanted Date: Shipments created with multiple Wanted Dates defaulted to the latest Wanted Date on the Order Lines. This was improved to default to the earliest Wanted Date on the related Order Lines.
- Draft Invoices Removed from Customer Statements: Non-published invoices that can be sent from AR > Customers are now removed from the customer statement. Reminder, Drafts are created upon Shipment closure!
- Total Added to Bottom of PDF if Setting On: The option to include pricing on Picking and Packing slips was expanded to include a
Total Shipment Amount
on the bottom of the form if the setting is turned on to show pricing. - Work Order Column Added to Backorder Tool: Work Order quantities were added as a column on the Backorder Tool for greater visibility of inventory need areas.
- Future Payment Date Warning: A warning message was added if a user future dates a Payment within the AP area.
- Contact Email Optional: Users are no longer required to include an email when creating or updating Contacts.
- Separate Columns for Account # and Account Description on Financial Reports: Turning on the
Account #
switch puts the numbers in a separate column/field instead of simply adding them to the beginning of the description.
Bug Fixes
- Emailed PDF Unreadable: Emailed PDFs from the system couldn't be opened by recipients. This has been cleared and PDFs should be viewable by recipients again.
- Quotes Appearing in Export Files: Quotation marks appeared on export files on values > 1,000 after release 1.18. This was updated in this release to not appear on the export files.
