Order Entry: Email Notification Options

This describes the email notification settings available in 10X ERP for sales orders. These settings allow you to customize who receives email notifications based on the sales order.

These options provide flexibility in managing email notifications for sales orders, ensuring that the right recipients are informed based on your specific needs.

Email Notification Options

1. Do Not Send

  • Description: No email notifications will be sent.
  • Behavior:
    • The email specified in the sales order is ignored.
    • The email field next to this setting is locked and remains blank for clarity.

2. Sales Order Only

  • Description: Only the email specified in the sales order will receive notifications.
  • Behavior:
    • The email field next to this setting is locked and remains blank for clarity.

3. Add Additional Email

  • Description: Both the email specified in the sales order and the additional email entered in this setting will receive notifications.
  • Behavior:
    • A valid email is required in the field next to this setting.

4. Custom Only

  • Description: Only the additional email entered in this setting will receive notifications.
  • Behavior:
    • The email specified in the sales order will not receive any notifications.
    • A valid email is required in the field next to this setting.
