Custom Reports

The Custom Reports feature in 10X ERP allows for the creation of highly customizable reports to suit various business needs. This powerful tool enables users to select a report type, specify a date range, and customize columns and data grouping for detailed insights. Here's how to navigate and utilize the Custom Reports feature effectively.

Overview of Report Types

Start by selecting a report type based on the specific data or insight you need:

Quotes: Shows all quotes created.
Bookings: Displays sales orders entered.
Sales: Shows all invoiced sales.
Purchases: Lists purchase orders entered.
Sales Commissions: Calculates commissions based on sales within the selected dates, using sales rep information and commission settings.

For all report types, you can toggle the Lines switch to view details by individual lines (e.g., order lines, quote lines) for more granular insights.

Creating a Report

Select Report Type: First, choose the type of report you wish to generate from the available options to focus on the specific aspect of your business you want to analyze.
Specify Date Range: Next, define the date range for your report to narrow down the data to a specific period. This helps in focusing your analysis on a particular timeframe, such as a fiscal quarter or month.
Generate Preliminary Report: Click the Go button to generate a preliminary report based on the report type and date range specified. This initial report provides a basic overview, which you can then customize further for detailed analysis.
Choose Columns: Select which columns to display in your report, tailoring the information to your specific needs.
Group By: Organize your report data by grouping it according to fields like date, customer, product category, or sales rep. This step allows you to analyze trends and patterns effectively.

Finalizing Your Report

Once you've customized the columns and grouping as desired, your custom report is ready. The Custom Reports feature empowers you to generate tailored reports that offer valuable insights, helping you make informed business decisions.
